This is the plain version of what this website collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
If you send a functions enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the date, the number of guests, the kind of occasion and your message. That's all.
The website doesn't use advertising or analytics trackers and doesn't set cookies. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security.
Your own browser keeps two small notes so the site behaves the same next time: that you've already been through the entrance, and whether you turned the sound on. They stay on your device, they aren't sent to us, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.
What we do with it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to organise your function. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't sell or share your details. The enquiry is sent to The Foggy Lantern by email and isn't stored on this website.
Other services
Directions and reviews open on Google or Facebook, which have their own privacy policies.
Seeing or deleting your details
Call us on 0457 827 230 or ask at the counter at 2 Murray Cods Drive, Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge SA 5253, and we'll show you what we hold or delete it. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
